Caregiving Is the Job. Everything Else Supports It.

At American Allied Health, the caregiver in the home is the service — scheduling, billing, and care plans exist to support that one relationship. We're a veteran-owned, SC DHEC-licensed agency (License IHCP-2464) based on Forest Drive in Columbia, and we hire caregivers who show up, follow the plan, and treat clients the way they'd want their own family treated.

What We Offer

  • W-2 employment, not gig work — you're an employee with workers' compensation coverage and agency liability insurance behind you
  • Flexible scheduling — part-time, full-time, weekday, overnight, and weekend assignments
  • Consistent client matching — we assign you to clients you build a relationship with, not a different address every day
  • Paid training, including specialized dementia and pediatric preparation
  • Real supervision and support — coordinators who answer the phone and back you up
  • Work close to home — assignments across six counties, including rural areas

We pay competitively for the Midlands home care market and review compensation regularly rather than leaving it stagnant. Ask about current pay rates, mileage reimbursement, and referral bonuses when you apply — we discuss real numbers with every candidate before you accept a position, not after.
